Goat head nightmare

I'm looking for anyone who wants to volunteer with me to go kill the baby goat head sticker bushes around Eagle Island park. I noticed the evil spawn as I took my son to ride the slide on the 4th. The plants are still very small now and without stickers so we can nuke them with a tank sprayer. Who wants to go? Save us some pain this Fall. I'm thinking 8-9 p.m. so that any park employees will be gone and there will be no hassles.

Yes, let's do it this weekend. How about Saturday or Sunday early evening. I work Saturday until 4 p.m. Off Sunday. Evenings are better to avoid any "park authorities"
Who else wants to go?
Bring a large screw driver and a bucket and gloves. This should be easy. The bushes are now too big to just spray so we have to pull them out. Goat heads are easy that way.

I went out there
I went out there to take my son fishing and noticed there is a lot. I think it might take a few trips out there. I think talking to the people wouldn't hurt at all. I mean we are really doing a favor by working on that. Did the party go out there this weekend? If not I would love to go out there as well and help out.

I am sorry for the delayed response but I was in California for a wedding Thursday night until late last night. I can ask my contact at the park and see what they think about it and then go from there. I say we go about it this way as Harris mentioned.

We need to get them now while the thorns are green and have not yet dropped.
I can go any time after dinner on Tuesday. In fact, I'll just go myself and see who shows up. I'll be there at 7:00 p.m.
Weapons of choice are a large flat screw driver, gloves and a bucket. They really come out easy if we do it now.
