Hello all, I hope you are enjoying the new website. This will be the start for the Tuesday night cross training workouts. I believe we will still be meeting at the Northeast corner of Camels Back Park unless Mike has other ideas at 6 PM.

Hi. I know quite a few folks going out to Eagle Island tomorrow. I also see that the 1st training practice is scheduled at Camel's back as well. Are they both going on or is everyone going to Eagle Island tomorrow? Brian

wrong place

I'm pretty sure anybody going out to Eagle Island may have just got the word wrong. Practice at Camel's Back is THE place to be. :)

Cool

Eric,
Thanks. Just wanted to be sure.

Tuesday nights at eagle

for anyone else interested, I plan to keep going to Eagle Island on Tuesday nights for practice. We have enough riders out on this side of town to make it worthwhile. It sounds like there were good turn-outs at both locations this past week.

If it hurts the turn-out at camels back maybe we can change nights.

tuesday at eagle island?

Is there a cx practice night going on at eagle island tomorrow night? It'd be great to be able to see the terrain and ride parts of the course leading up to saturday's race. Please let me know.

Tuesday night at Eagle Island

I am planning on being there. It's nice to be able to ride the course at non-race pace.

"non-race pace"?

um... Paul... that WAS my race pace! :)

Goat Heads

There are quite a few goat head plants showing up at Eagle Island. Particularly on the 180 degree turn on the back side. If you are there, take a few minutes to dig them up. Make sure you haul them off or better yet, drop them on the sidewalk, right before you head into the sand. That way, all those fast guys will get slowed down!

Also, the cross country race over last weekend really beat the grass to death. I suggest you stay off the 'path' they left. It was not ride-able last night. Tires would easily sink in and leave deep ruts. We don't need to get banned at Eagle Island.

Goat heads in Idaho, no way!!

That's too bad, we spent some time out there digging those up and I know Todd did as well. People better have slime in their tires it sounds like. Of course if you ride a cross bike in Southern Idaho and you dont' have slime, I think your nuts..
