disc brakes OK?

I'm considering riding my VD Country Road Bob this fall, but it's got disc brakes. Is that legal?

Unless it's a sanctioned UCI race at the elite level, disc brakes are legal. There's a small blurb from a few years ago on USA Cycling that says basically the same also.

There are a couple racers in our area with discs on their bikes, and I doubt anybody will even give you a second look.

That's good news. Thanks. Now to find a 130mm rear wheel with Shimano hub and disc mount.

I also have a VD country rd bob. Mine does not have discs, did yours come with them? Thats pretty sweet if they did.
